How to do it

    Stand facing the machine, grab both handles above your head.

    Drive the handles down in a sweeping arc, bending at the hips and knees simultaneously.

    Pull through until your hands reach your hips, fully extending the pull.
  4. 4
    Return the handles upward with control — don't let them snap back.
  5. 5
    Keep your core braced throughout and avoid rounding the lower back.

About this movement

The SkiErg simulates the double-pole motion of cross-country skiing. It's a full upper-body cardio machine that heavily loads the lats, core, and shoulders while keeping heart rate high.
