Shoulder Tap
Plank StabilityWHAT IS IT
The Shoulder Tap lifts one hand from a plank to touch the opposite shoulder without the hips moving. It builds the anti-rotation core and shoulder control that keep the farmers carry and the sled push straight.
HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY
- 1Start in a high plank with the hands under the shoulders and the feet a little wide.
- 2Brace the core and squeeze the glutes.
- 3Lift one hand and tap the opposite shoulder.
- 4Put it down and tap with the other hand, hips level the whole time.
- 5Slow down if the hips start to rock.
