Rotational CoreWHAT IS IT
The Russian Twist rotates the torso side to side while seated with the feet raised or on the floor. It trains the obliques and the rotational control that keeps you stable on the sled and the carries.
HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY
- 1Sit with knees bent and lean back until the core is engaged.
- 2Hold a weight or clasp the hands at the chest.
- 3Rotate the torso to one side, bringing the hands beside the hip.
- 4Rotate through the centre to the other side.
- 5Keep the chest up and the movement controlled; lift the feet to make it harder.
