Hollow Hold
Core TensionWHAT IS IT
The Hollow Hold lies on the back with arms and legs extended just off the floor, lower back pressed down. It builds the full-body tension behind every pull-up, toes-to-bar and burpee.
HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY
- 1Lie on your back with arms overhead and legs straight.
- 2Press the lower back firmly into the floor.
- 3Lift the shoulders and legs a few centimetres off the floor.
- 4Keep the body in a shallow banana shape, arms by the ears.
- 5Hold for the prescribed time; bend the knees if the back lifts.
