How to do it

    Stand facing the box at about arm's length away.

    Load into a quarter squat, swinging arms back.
  3. 3
    Explode upward, driving arms forward and pulling your knees up.
  4. 4
    Land softly on top of the box with both feet, absorbing the impact with bent knees.
  5. 5
    Stand tall at the top, then step (or jump) down safely — never drop off the front.
