Box Jump
Explosive Power
Box jumps develop explosive lower body power and reactive strength. They train your legs to generate force rapidly, which transfers directly to running speed and athletic performance.
How to
- Stand facing the box at about arm's length away.
- Load into a quarter squat, swinging arms back.
- Explode upward, driving arms forward and pulling your knees up.
- Land softly on top of the box with both feet, absorbing the impact with bent knees.
- Stand tall at the top, then step (or jump) down safely — never drop off the front.
