The burpee is one of the most effective full-body conditioning exercises. It combines a push-up, a squat, and a jump into one fluid movement, spiking heart rate quickly while building total-body endurance.
How to
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Drop your hands to the floor and jump your feet back into a push-up position.
- Perform a push-up — chest touches the ground for full range.
- Jump your feet back toward your hands into a squat position.
- Explode upward into a jump, clapping hands overhead at the top.
