Full Body Power

The Devil Press combines a burpee with a double dumbbell snatch into one brutal full-body movement. From a burpee over the dumbbells, you drive them overhead in a single explosive motion — a favorite in HYROX-style conditioning for its huge cardio and strength demand.

How to

  1. Start standing with a dumbbell in each hand at your sides.
  2. Drop into a burpee, lowering your chest between the dumbbells.
  3. Push back up and jump or step your feet toward your hands.
  4. In one fluid motion, swing both dumbbells between your legs and drive them overhead.
  5. Lock out overhead with a braced core, then lower under control and repeat.
