Sled Push

Lower Body Power

The Sled Push is one of the most demanding stations in HYROX. You drive a weighted sled across the turf using pure leg and hip power, keeping your body low and forward-leaning.

How to

  1. Grip the sled uprights at hip height, arms fully extended.
  2. Lean your body forward at roughly 45 degrees — the more forward, the more power.
  3. Drive through the balls of your feet with short, powerful strides.
  4. Keep your hips low and your core rigid — don't let your hips rise.
  5. Breathe rhythmically; don't hold your breath through the push.
